After the founding members of the junior research group had completed all the formalities for its establishment, it was time to wait for the official confirmation from the GAMM board. However, the future board members did not remain idle during this period. Katja Tüting and Jannis Marquardt accepted an invitation from the MUSEN Center at TU Braunschweig (Center for Mechanics, Uncertainty, and Simulation in Engineering) and presented the future plans for the newly founded junior research group to the MUSEN Center's board.

At the end of the presentation, the two not only received support for the youth group initiative but also had the opportunity to spread their call for new members to various institutes.
